Farming

The majority of the farming operations on the estate are managed by the Strathmore Farming Company, but there are also a number of tenanted farms that have been at the heart of the estate for many years.  The farming company is run by Farms Director, David Soutar and prides itself on its diverse approach to modern agriculture.  Today it encompasses 4270 acres of mixed arable land, a large pig enterprise and grassland with cattle and sheep.
