Forestry

The Estate has approximately 1780 acres (720 ha) of woodlands under management which is used for both commercial and amenity purposes.

The woods on the estate range in size from 1 acre (0.4 ha) to over 300 acres (121 ha).

The Estate's modern sawmill  produces a range of fencing and joinery timber products with special orders cut to customers specification .
